At Dar Al Amanah, we value craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and quality. Many of our items are handmade, fragile, or produced in limited quantities. Because of this, we kindly ask customers to review our return policy carefully before making a purchase.
Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery, provided that the item:
- Is unused and unworn
- Is in its original condition
- Is returned in its original packaging
Due to the handmade nature of many of our products, natural variations in color, texture, wood grain, glaze finish, embroidery, or brushwork are expected and are not considered defects. These variations reflect the authenticity and individuality of each piece.
All return requests must be reviewed and approved before any item is shipped back to us.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Include clear photographs of the item and packaging so we can assess the issue and provide a prompt solution.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please email:

Your email must include:
- Your order number
- A brief explanation for the return request
- Photos of the item, if applicable
Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will provide confirmation along with return instructions and the appropriate return address.
Returns sent without prior written approval will not be accepted.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a confirmed defect or shipping error. We do not provide prepaid return labels.
For your protection, we recommend using a trackable shipping method. Dar Al Amanah is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.
Refunds
After we receive and inspect your returned item, you will be notified of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
- Custom or personalized items
- Personal care products
- Hazardous or flammable goods
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you would like a different size, color, or product, please submit a return request for the original item (if eligible) and place a new order separately once your return has been approved.
