The ongoing war in Gaza has left thousands of children without parents, homes, or stability. Every day, orphans face hunger, trauma, and uncertainty — yet they still hold on to hope.
At Dar Al Amanah, we believe that no child should feel forgotten. Our Orphan Sponsorship Program exists to restore dignity and provide consistent care for orphans in Gaza — offering food, clothing, education, and emotional support through the kindness of sponsors around the world.
To help us expand and strengthen this vital program, we are seeking a dedicated Volunteer Orphan Sponsorship Coordinator to join our team.
What This Role Involves
As an Orphan Sponsorship Coordinator, you will help ensure that every sponsorship is managed with compassion and accuracy, and that sponsors stay connected to the children they support.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- 📝 Reviewing orphan profiles prepared by our field team in Gaza to ensure details are accurate and complete.
- 💬 Matching orphans with potential sponsors who wish to provide consistent monthly support.
- 🕊️ Coordinating monthly updates so sponsors can follow the progress and wellbeing of the children they support.
- 🤝 Communicating with our headquarters team to report on new sponsorships, ongoing needs, and success stories.
Your work will directly help orphans in Gaza receive steady aid, care, and hope — even amid unimaginable hardship.
